HOW IT WORKS

A decision engine behind the wheel.

Jev sees a structured snapshot of the road and chooses a target speed, a lane action, and an attention category. The browser converts those decisions into acceleration, braking, and steering.

Weather changes grip, braking distance, and visibility. The model sees nearby vehicles and pedestrians; traffic lights and road geometry are supplied as map information. Night reduces visibility further.

The optional emergency brake is deterministic and its interventions are counted separately. If inference becomes stale, the car brakes. API failures pause the drive. No scripted autopilot replaces Jev.

Jev chooses routes through a connected street grid, prepares a turn lane, and yields before following a curved turn. It can pass slower traffic and return right once clear. The map traces your actual route. Other traffic follows scripted rules; this is not a real-world autonomy benchmark. Live driving uses your configured TypeSafe API and incurs usage.
